Smooth process for collectible coins

I decided to add a Morgan Silver Dollar to my collection and chose Zion Metals. The ordering process was clear, and I appreciated the detailed descriptions for the graded coins. I opted for standard shipping, which took about a week to reach me in California. The coin arrived in excellent condition, well-protected in its slab. I had a quick question about payment methods before ordering and their customer service responded within a few hours, which was helpful. The website stated that orders over a certain amount got free shipping, which mine did, and that was a nice bonus. No sales tax charged on the bullion either. Everything was handled professionally.

Good deal on Goldbacks

I was looking for some Goldbacks and Zion Metals had competitive pricing. I paid with a wire transfer to get the extra 3% off, which made it the best deal I could find. Shipping was free because my order was over $199. It felt like I got good value for my money, which is what I always look for.

Easy to order silver

Ordered a few 1 oz Silver Rounds from them. The website was pretty straightforward, found what I wanted without any hassle. Shipping was fast too, got them in about 5 days. Everything came packed well. Just a smooth experience overall, no complaints.

Reliable for gold and silver

This isn't my first time buying from Zion Metals. I've ordered various items, including Junk Silver Coins and Canadian Silver Maple Leafs, over the past year. They've always been consistent with their product quality and discreet shipping. This last order, for some fractional gold bars, was just as reliable. It's why I keep coming back – I know what to expect and they deliver every time.

Anyone know how long shipping takes from Zion Metals to, say, California? Trying to get some silver before a trip.

N Neil 1 month ago
Mine usually takes like a week, week and a half for most orders. I'm on the west coast too.

Depends on the order size and what you buy, but generally pretty quick. My last small order was here in 5 days.

Just signed up for their newsletter, are there usually any good new customer offers or signup bonuses they send out?

A Andre Q. 1 month ago
Sometimes they do. I got a small discount code for accessories when I first signed up, not for bullion directly though.

I think I got a welcome offer once, but it wasn't a huge amount. Mostly, the real deals come from the wire transfer discount or bulk buys.

I'm looking at buying a good amount of silver bars, is there any way to get a better deal than just the listed price? Like, for bulk orders or something?

L Lisa Carter 1 month ago
For sure, check out their quantity breaks on larger items. Also, if you pay by wire transfer, you usually get a discount, like 3-4% off.

Yeah, if you're buying a lot, the price per ounce drops. Plus, always use the wire transfer discount if you can.

Anyone compared Zion Metals to JM Bullion or APMEX? Wondering who has better pricing, especially on American Silver Eagles.

D Dana 4 weeks ago
I usually check all of them. Zion Metals often has competitive pricing, especially if you're paying with a wire. For Eagles, it can go either way, so always compare on the day you buy.

JM Bullion sometimes has better sales, but Zion Metals can beat them with their wire transfer discount. It's a coin toss depending on the current spot price and their premiums.

What's the deal with returns if I end up not wanting something? Is it a pain in the butt or pretty straightforward?

N Nick L. 1 month ago
Returns on bullion can be a bit tricky because the price fluctuates so much. You'd have to check their policy on their site, I think it's usually store credit or something similar if it's not defective.

I've never returned bullion, but I had an issue with some capsules and they sorted it out really fast. For bullion specifically, it's tied to market price so it's not a standard 'return for refund' kinda thing usually.

Do they charge sales tax on gold? I'm in a state that usually does for other stuff.

C Carly 1 month ago
Not on gold bullion, no. Precious metals are usually exempt from sales tax for investment purposes, but check your state's laws to be sure.

P Phil 1 month ago
Nah, generally no sales tax on gold from them. It's considered an investment, not a regular taxable good in most places.

Hey guys, thinking about getting some Goldbacks from Zion Metals. Are they legit? Like, real deal or what?

R Rosa Osei 1 month ago
Yeah, they're definitely real. Got some Nevada ones from them a few months ago, no issues.

Totally legit. They're a known dealer for precious metals, you're good.
